Our first volunteer day at Twilight Tails Ranch was a wonderful success! A team of seven volunteers from the UU Animal Ministry of Houston spent the morning helping out and getting to know the animals and the amazing work being done there.
We started by cleaning up and organizing the shed, sorting through dog crates, toys, blankets, and towels so everything would be easier to access for the rescue team. After that, we helped wash and walk several of the dogs, giving them some much-needed care, exercise, and attention.
It was a joy to work alongside Judy and Heath, and we’re grateful for the warm welcome and the chance to support their efforts.
Everyone had a great time, and we’re excited to return every other month to continue helping out. We hope even more volunteers will join us next time!
