Animeals Pet Food Collection at First UU Church

The Animal Ministry and Community Projects Team at First UU of Houston are partnering to collect pet food on February 22, March 1, and March 8 in support of Animeals, a program of Interfaith Ministries Houston. Animeals helps ensure that no senior has to choose between feeding themselves and feeding a beloved companion animal. Donations of dog and cat food support seniors enrolled in the Meals on Wheels program and help keep people and their pets healthy and together. Dry cat food and canned dog food are especially needed. Thank you for helping us care for all members of the family—two- and four-legged alike.

On March 8th at 11:30 am you are invited to volunteer to help portion out the dry food into bags that Interfaith Ministries can deliver to seniors.
