Project WARM: A Heartwarming Day of Building, Community, and Compassion

This past Project WARM cat shelter building event was an incredible success—and it’s all thanks to the amazing volunteers who showed up with open hearts, ready hands, and a shared commitment to helping cats stay safe and warm.

Together, our volunteers worked side by side to build sturdy, weather-resistant cat shelters that will make a real, immediate difference for outdoor and community cats. There was a wonderful sense of teamwork throughout the day: measuring, cutting, assembling, insulating, and cheering each other on as each shelter came together. It was inspiring to watch compassion turn into action.

We are deeply grateful to every volunteer who donated their time, energy, and care. Whether you built, organized, transported materials, or simply offered encouragement, you made this event possible. Your efforts reflect the very best of our community.

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Friends for Life, who were thrilled to receive the shelters. Their team shared how grateful they are to have these well-built shelters ready to be placed where they are needed most. Each one represents warmth, safety, and comfort for a cat who might otherwise face the cold without protection.

Project WARM is a powerful reminder of what can happen when people come together for animals in need. Because of you, many cats will have a warmer, safer place to curl up—and that’s something truly worth celebrating.

Thank you again to our volunteers and partners for making Project WARM such a meaningful and successful day. We can’t wait to build again with you! 🧡
